Macedonian Association of Processors
MAP has an open-door policy and welcomes domestic processing companies, individuals and organizations active in the fruit and vegetable processing subsector. Currently 27 companies are full time members of the association, representing around 75% of total industry output of processed products.

Strengthening the potential of MAP members to enter foreign markets
Informing MAP members about market trends, technological and legal issues
Coordinating business delegations and joint presentations at trade fairs
Advocacy and lobbying towards protecting the interests of the fruit and vegetable processing industry
Coordination of trainings and capacity building activities for MAP members
of MAP focus on meeting the demands of its members, such as:
Taking part in all meetings related to the processing industry in the country
Creating an environment for more successful exports of MAP members in order to meet larger demands from foreign buyers
Coordinating members' activities in regards to food safety and food quality issues
Distributing information, especially regarding market trends, food law regulations of the EU and other target markets
Supporting digitalization efforts of MAP members and the entire value chain
Strengthening the cooperation with farmers and farmer associations in order to enhance supply chain linkages
Establishing cooperation with private and public institutions, the business community and international projects active in the Republic of North Macedonia
Lobbying and advocacy on behalf of the industry
Initiating business linkages with similar institutions and foreign associations
